Team,
Sorry I have been a bit AWOL recently. I hope this post will
explain some of the reasons and I also hope that it provides some
inspiration for what you can achieve once you have really committed to
the BT lifestyle.
My life is at constant upheaval at the moment
with huge moments of bittersweet. Over the last few weeks I have had the
following:
- My 20th Wedding Anniversary
- My mum being put into palliative care with cancer on the liver, bowel, stomach and lungs
- My daughter graduating from High School
HI. My name is Tony Curl and I have a real concern with the State of Men's Health. I know so many of my friends and mates, and see hundreds of others that carry that extra weight around their guts. The badge of honour called a Beer Gut. Unhealthy is a nice way to say it. An absolute killer is another. I want everyone to know my story and for you to realise that YOU can change your life and improve your health. Transform your life, all you need is the desire to change.
Please read MY STORY first, then click through the pages. Would love to hear from others and only too willing to help anyone who takes the step to help themselves. Overall I have lost over 29kg, transformed my life and now have kept it off for over twelve months. The proof that you can still drink beer and transform your body.

The Challenge Ahead
Been a bit busy lately...well actually for a long time it seems with a fair bit of my mind and working through some personal and work issues that have confronted me.
With all that, I signed up and committed to the BODYTRIM challenge with some huge prizes on . Focussed and supporting the BT team in the way of a weekly blog, I am hoping that this again consolidates BT as one of the best ways to drop weight and support a healthy weight. I get excited of the thousands of people doing this challenge and taking steps towards reaching their own goals.
So if you are looking for some additional motivation, click on the image above and lose your way towards some great prizes and more importantly, a better you!!!

Spring Update
Unfortunately at times, life gets hold of you, grabs you by the throat and slams you sideways against the wall. If you hit the deck at these times, the likelihood is that life can sometimes put its foot on your throat and go in for a killer punch. Life as you know, suddenly changes..... and you need to deal with it.
Thats was the scenario that I faced as I squared off with pressures at work and potentially a personal crisis. I achieved my goal and aims, reduced down to 82kg again, increased muscel tone and generally pumped about life in general.
I then took a break for a week to hit the ground running again, which seemed to be a great idea. This week caused some breakdowns at work and personal, which I've had no other option but to deal with them. This has caused me to put my own well-being at a secondary level for the last ten days. There is some light at the end of the tunnel and I see a resolution of both issues over the next week.
I understand that Bodytrim are just about to launch a new 12 week challenge process and I am looking forward to being involved if needed. Things will be sweet, and as soon as I jump over these hurdles....I'll be back. Till then my friends, Curly

Almost There!
Can I just say, I enjoy the path that I have chosen. I look forward to my exercise sessions daily, and even enjoy getting up at 4.30 to get a 30 minute walk in every morning. I understand what food I can eat without gain and how much. And all of this due to the education that Bodytrim has given me.
Take today for example. Walked in the morning, did a small boxing session in the afternoon followed by a walk, and after SIX AFD's, am currently sitting here enjoying a beer and looking forward to the Qld Derby League Game with the Cowboys hosting the Broncos on Friday Night Footy.
And what makes it even better....knowing that I have been very good and continuing the good work that I have been doing. You can enjoy life, and do the right thing for yourself. Show some discipline and you can enjoy the fruits of your work. Enjoy your weekend...Go the Dragons and the Hawks and see you all next week.

Feeling Fit, Looking Fit, Getting Feedback
Can I tell you, I feel great. The weight continues to slide off me, and more importantly my muscle tone and body structure continues to improve. I saw a guy today, who works within my company, who I hadn't seen for a number of weeks. He is undergoing a "Lite N Easy" transformation, but his initial comment to me was "Curly, you are looking so fit" What feedback.....I have been this weight (Under 88kg or thereabouts) since June 2009, so in some respect you expect people to be used to how you look now. I feel great that I am challenging myself and that my body shape continues to evolve in a positive sense. I enjoy being fit, I enjoy being healthy and I still get a kick out of great feedback.....
Just remember please, this starts with one simple change. And builds, and builds and builds. Want this journey? Its actually yours for the taking....all you have to do is make the choice.
