HI. My name is Tony Curl and I have a real concern with the State of Men's Health. I know so many of my friends and mates, and see hundreds of others that carry that extra weight around their guts. The badge of honour called a Beer Gut. Unhealthy is a nice way to say it. An absolute killer is another. I want everyone to know my story and for you to realise that YOU can change your life and improve your health. Transform your life, all you need is the desire to change.
Please read MY STORY first, then click through the pages. Would love to hear from others and only too willing to help anyone who takes the step to help themselves. Overall I have lost over 29kg, transformed my life and now have kept it off for over twelve months. The proof that you can still drink beer and transform your body.

Sweet Poison

I am reading David Gillespie's book, Sweet Poison at the moment, and it is a real eyeopener. His research is told in laymens terms, as he sought to find out how the body actually works in digesting food. The research began when he hit 120kgs on the scales....he now weighs 80kg and sits in the Normal range of the BMI for his height.

He details how sugar became popular and the dangers associated with our increasing consumption. The finger is pointed squarely at sugar as the major culprit behind the obesity epidemic.

Two interesting sidelights. Legend has it, that if sugar was to be invented NOW, it would not pass any of the food safety standards around. Secondly, when Coke decided to make a DIET product, what did they do? They removed the SUGAR....and that was twenty years ago. Read the book, people.

Exciting New Product from Bodytrim

I get asked from time to time to review products from the Bodytrim people. Recently they sent me the DVD's and Reference Guide for their new product Bodytrim+. Regular visitors to this site, will attest to my recommendation of the Bodytrim program and the new improved Bodytrim+ takes it to the next level. It is a much more professional package, with easy to understand dialogue and graphics throughout the program. Geoff Jowett, the legend, provides more detail and greater depth of understanding around the nutrition component in the program. Included in the DVD's is a hugely inspiring DVD 1 with stories and pictures from people from every walk of life that have been successful in weight control with BT. And if you are lucky, you can see pictures of Curly as he goes flying across the DVD world. If you have been looking for a weight control product, that can fit into everyone's lifestyle, then I recommend Bodytrim+.

Vinyl Room

Saturday Night saw us relive our youth, with a great night we simply called THE VINYL ROOM. Basically yours truly, got out his old Vinyl and DJ console and spun the discs for family and friends. Here is some of the evidence.
DJ Curly T!!!
A great night was had by all, and it wasn't too bad from a food and beer perspective. My first little blow out in the two weeks since the Dragons became the Premiers, but well worth it. This weekend will see me take my beautiful wife away for a weekend, and looking forward to just chillin.Hope this finds everyone good, fighting fit and healthy.
I was asked to have a look at the new BODYTRIM+ program, and quite honestly it is a massive improvement in the program. A greater variety of food, and a very slick production will make sure that this will inspire many thousands of prospective BTers. Visit the Bodytrim website for more details.

Cheers, Curly

Dragons and Curly Win

The St George Illawarra Dragons are the NRL Premiers for 2010 and I certainly celebrated long and hard last Sunday. Here I am exactly one week later and back in control. I have had the best week from a Nutrition viewpoint and also have had an amazing seven AFD's. I knew I was burning the candle at both ends, and while eating well and maintaining exercise, was drinking just too much and negating the efforts. Beer does have a lot of empty calories, and if you have too much, the fat burning process just stops.

So I have gone a week without a beer, and don't plan to have a beer until next Saturday when I am hosting a Vinyl Room party, so that will be 13 straight AFD's. I had a challenge on Saturday when I took some mates to test a new Micro Brewery, but enjoyed their company while they sampled the brews. Just shows it can be done I guess. I need to drop 5 kilos and the weight has just been added around my waist and my love handles. Time to get going again. Sculpting through EPOC sessions and burning fat through a controlled diet.
