HI. My name is Tony Curl and I have a real concern with the State of Men's Health. I know so many of my friends and mates, and see hundreds of others that carry that extra weight around their guts. The badge of honour called a Beer Gut. Unhealthy is a nice way to say it. An absolute killer is another. I want everyone to know my story and for you to realise that YOU can change your life and improve your health. Transform your life, all you need is the desire to change.
Please read MY STORY first, then click through the pages. Would love to hear from others and only too willing to help anyone who takes the step to help themselves. Overall I have lost over 29kg, transformed my life and now have kept it off for over twelve months. The proof that you can still drink beer and transform your body.

My Story in Pictures

These are some of my photos that best match my story. Firstly my school Years.

This is my Year 11 Photo in 1982. My guess is I weigh around 82kg at this time of my life.

This is my year twelve photo from 1983. I weight 87kg here and you can see a significant change in my upper body and shoulders due to weight training for the first time with Souths.

This is a photo of sports day at the start of the walk. 1983 weighing 87kgs.

NOW LETS LOOK AT SOME OF MY BEFORE SHOTS.

I work for Bunnings and this is how I looked for too long. My guess here is weight was around 110kg.

Two of my favourite things to do. Being on holiday at Yamba NSW and having a beer with mates.

Best mates, best times. Angourie 2009. Weighing 109kg.

The Photo that created change for me. After seeing this I knew that I had to take steps to change. 109kg.

Now I will post just a couple of photos of me now. Firstly I will start with a link to the Bodyscuplt challenge photos that were taken during a six week challenge in February and March. Here it Is. End the challenge at 79.2kgs.

Official BT pic taken in October 2009. weight 84.5kg

I actually really like this shot. Wearing size 87 jeans, and showing off the old 102cm shorts I used to wear. 87cm are now too baggy for me and I am now in size 82cm. During my journey I have lost 20cm around my waist.

And this is one of my favourite "new" photos. Skinny jeans, slim fit T-shirt heading off to a fancy dress theme Christmas party.
