HI. My name is Tony Curl and I have a real concern with the State of Men's Health. I know so many of my friends and mates, and see hundreds of others that carry that extra weight around their guts. The badge of honour called a Beer Gut. Unhealthy is a nice way to say it. An absolute killer is another. I want everyone to know my story and for you to realise that YOU can change your life and improve your health. Transform your life, all you need is the desire to change.
Please read MY STORY first, then click through the pages. Would love to hear from others and only too willing to help anyone who takes the step to help themselves. Overall I have lost over 29kg, transformed my life and now have kept it off for over twelve months. The proof that you can still drink beer and transform your body.

2011 Will be An Amazing Year

I hope that everyone is well and has recovered from their NYE hangovers. I hope that everyone is facing 2011 with a great hope and optimism. Personally, my ecoli-bug that I picked up pre-Christmas is still letting me know it is around and I really do hope that is well and truly passed before my upcoming holidays in Yamba, NSW.

When I return from Yamba,I will be starting a refreshed fat-loss program to drop the unwanted kilos that I may be picking up at the moment. Even though I have been sick, it seems that I have craved sweet stuff, plus combined with little exercise has left me vulnerable to some gain. So, starting January 24 will be a no-holds-bar approach over a five weeks period to drop 6-8 kilos. I will blog daily on food, exercise and keep everyone updated with weights and measures. February Fire-Up and I am ready to go.

  1. Hey Curly. Have no idea if you have access to computer at the moment but with all thats going on in Qld just wanted to let you know you are in my thoughts. Hope you and your family are safe.

Funny you had an ecoli bug, I spent a fair bit of time in October in hospital with ecoli infection in my bladder and kidneys. Felt like I would have preferred to be dead.

    Anyway, hope all is good.

  2. Thanks Stewy, the update is everyone is safe, but my store went under, my mum went under and my footy club went under. And to make it worse we are flooded in at Yamba, so a tough time Tuesday night as my team kept me updated on their evacuation of the store and coordinating mums evacuation to our place. I have a lot of team members from work affected by the floods, but everyone family and colleagues are safe and that is the important thing. Thanks for your thoughts

  3. I thought that may have been your store I saw on the news (Rocklea is it???).

Not a good time for a holiday in Northern NSW.

We are off to the Gold Coast next friday staying at Runaway Bay, but if things are still too bad up there we may just stay here as we don't want to get in the way/add to the congestion etc. I know the GC is okay but it seems strange to be planning on going for a holiday in Qld at the moment.
