Well, the best thing about being healthy, is the way you feel about yourself. But occasionally, its so good to good external support for the new healthy you. I got results from a blood test today that really highlights the transformation that I have embarked on.
The new blood tests compared against three other tests conducted over the last seven years. I am proud to post the following results and improvements on my bloods since getting real and healthy.
The worst Cholesterol result over the last results was a high of 5.9. My current result is 4.8. 5.9 is scary, 4.8 is cool. The good cholesterol at its worst was 0.8, now its sits at 1.9 (which I am told is a little high). My triglycerides, which is the fatty crap in your blood, at its worst sat at 3.5, which is high. Now its sits at 0.5. I am told that, that is a little low. My Chol/HDL Ratio now sits at 2.5, but it was as high as 6.6. They tell me that this is the Cardiac Arrest ratio. My doctor says, Whatever you are doing, keep doing it.....I Plan to. According to the Cardiovascular Risk, I sit at 2% of having a stroke/heart attack in the next five years. I like those odds.
To ascertain your own risk......http://www.cvdcheck.org.au
Guys, if there is any other information you need, to change your life....the chance to live longer is it! A heart attack at 50, or living life like a young fella like I think I am. I am so glad I made the choice just a couple of years back and my life is so much better than it has been. I thank Bodytrim, but I also thank me, for doing the hard stuff. Guys its worth it.
HI. My name is Tony Curl and I have a real concern with the State of Men's Health. I know so many of my friends and mates, and see hundreds of others that carry that extra weight around their guts. The badge of honour called a Beer Gut. Unhealthy is a nice way to say it. An absolute killer is another. I want everyone to know my story and for you to realise that YOU can change your life and improve your health. Transform your life, all you need is the desire to change.
Please read MY STORY first, then click through the pages. Would love to hear from others and only too willing to help anyone who takes the step to help themselves. Overall I have lost over 29kg, transformed my life and now have kept it off for over twelve months. The proof that you can still drink beer and transform your body.

Almost There!
Can I just say, I enjoy the path that I have chosen. I look forward to my exercise sessions daily, and even enjoy getting up at 4.30 to get a 30 minute walk in every morning. I understand what food I can eat without gain and how much. And all of this due to the education that Bodytrim has given me.
Take today for example. Walked in the morning, did a small boxing session in the afternoon followed by a walk, and after SIX AFD's, am currently sitting here enjoying a beer and looking forward to the Qld Derby League Game with the Cowboys hosting the Broncos on Friday Night Footy.
And what makes it even better....knowing that I have been very good and continuing the good work that I have been doing. You can enjoy life, and do the right thing for yourself. Show some discipline and you can enjoy the fruits of your work. Enjoy your weekend...Go the Dragons and the Hawks and see you all next week.

Life Changing
Over the last couple of years, I have met some amazing people through my support of the Bodytrim program. I keep in contact with these via popular social networking programs, and get amazed at how their lives are lived nowadays and the changes that has happened. I feel a real sense of pride in knowing these amazing people, and cannot help but think about how their lives have changed. The latest is a young lady who has ultimately lost 60 kilos, and her latest adventure and project was completing an 11 kilometre Fun Run. Going through her head as she completed this latest objective, surely was the incredible and inspirational journey she has embarked on. And one of the greatest senses of satisfaction is that they are undertaking these journeys for themselves. No television cameras monitor their every move, no personal trainers at their beck and call. Just a desire to lose some weight, and then in the process start to enjoy life again and then the stretch begins on what they really want out of life. Exercise and health becomes the focus, after the education on how to lose their weight. They enjoy life in s many ways, and continue with some of their vices, but understand what is needed for them to ensure that vices do not take control.
In all cases, these journeys started with one step....and that one step was achieved only after a real desire for change. Are you prepared to take that step??

Back In......
I am really happy with my progress this week. Nutritionally I have been good, with a minor hiccup at a Business Planning day, but from an exercise front I have been outstanding. I have had all my allocated resistance exercises sessions, ran 5km most days and ensured I got my early morning walk in every day.
I am feeling very good, but the test comes this weekend with a plethora of footy options challenging my desire to be alcohol free for the next four weeks at least. This will definitely be a test for my discipline, but I know that my support network will be good for me..... I will post weigh-in results over the next couple of days.

Shop Fronts, Point of Sales and the Weeks results
I was ecstatic last week, dropping three kilos after my carb detox, and this week was not so good. The body stabilised and my loss has been minimal. I still feel lighter and my pants are more comfortable, so I must be losing centrmetres, but this hasn't shown on the scales. I also took the week off Resistance Training and that may have something to do with the minimal loss. I am using my "old dodgy" scales at the moment as my Body Fat ones have decided to take a holiday, but that should be fixed over the weekend.
I do need to apologise to good folk all over Australia. Last Night while shopping, I saw a large poster of myself, staring down from a shop front promoting the new package Bodytrim+. For those that are scared by this, I apologise now. To be honest, it was a strange feeling. BT, in their wisdom, have never (to my knowledge) used my image in any campaign as it always seems to be women featured on TV and the magazines. Obviously this is a larger target market and I understand the reasoning, and to be honest happy with it as I have been allowed to be a Low Profile Top 10er. I am expecting some calls and texts over the weekend as family and friends see the poster....The price of fame..............LOL
Have a great weekend everybody,
Cheers.

Decision Time :Paid Off
I returned to work this week after a holiday break of almost three weeks. I jumped on the scales on Sunday (after a few beers) and found out that I was very close to my "trigger point". My trigger point is that number on the scales that I have set, that re-focuses me, and brings me back to fat burning mode. In all reality, when I set my "trigger point" I never thought I would get close to it again. Sunday was my wake-up call. It was DECISION TIME! Continue on, believing you're in control (when I obviously wasn't), OR get back in control and turn on the fat burners
To turn the fat burning qualities back, I needed to do the dreaded carb detox again. Three days of protein only as all the Bodytrim team will know. After day three, you crave lettuce and spinach leaves, but the feeling of being back in control is enourmous. Tuna, Fish, and Chicken become the staple. Well, today before my Resistance session and walk, I jumped on the scales and incredibly pleased with the results. 3kg in one week....I'm Back.
Coming into the danger period with Xmas parties and the like, so the run-in and focus doesn't stop here. I want to be back at the weight I was last Xmas, which means a further drop of approx 3 kilos. Discipline, the ability to say now will be paramount to do this.
What are your strategies coming into Xmas ?
